Mohan Vaswani is the founder of Ishk Tolaram Foundation and sits on the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees. He is a second-generation family member of Tolaram Group, which he has been at the helm of since 1957 when he first took over the reign of his father’s textile unit in Indonesia. Mohan is the driving force behind major investments and developments of business units internationally.
Aside from remaining active in guiding the business, Mohan is an advisor to numerous philanthropic endeavours through Ishk Tolaram Foundation and Rotary Club.

Raj Vaswani sits on the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees at Ishk Tolaram Foundation. He is also a third-generation family member of Tolaram Group and sits on the Board of Directors at Tolaram Family Office Wealth Co., where he is on the Investment Committee, and the T-Seven Pte Ltd Family Office.
Raj has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, import and distribution, and product development in FMCG goods. In addition, he is well versed in portfolio management of equities. He graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration from University Of Georgia, Terry College of Business.

Shahul Hameed sits on the Board of Trustees at Ishk Tolaram Foundation. He has been involved in community work for the past 30 years in Singapore and overseas, and has led multiple medical, dental and community missions to Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, India, and Nigeria, with the desire to promote the welfare of others. For the past 22 years, Shahul has also been a dedicated Rotarian and through this platform, has been able to leverage on Rotary Global Grants for a variety of Community Projects and Missions.
By profession, Shahul is a general dental surgeon and runs a group dental practice with special interests in dental implants and family dentistry. He is also adjunct senior lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore and is an appointed member of the Singapore Dental Council.

Sumitra Aswani is a fourth-generation family member of Tolaram Group and currently serves as the executive director of Ishk Tolaram Foundation. Encouraged by trends in the social impact sector, she is looking to develop creative, sustainable solutions to entrenched problems within Indonesia and Nigeria leveraging the potential of both the family business and foundation. Sumitra is also actively involved with the Business Families Foundation, where she is a board member, the Family Business Network, and Nexus, where she is the Co-country Director for Singapore.
Sumitra graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore and has served in both clinical and policy roles in the public healthcare sector, with an interest in family and community medicine. She is currently pursuing a Master of Studies in Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge.
Program Director, Indonesia
Mimu Nanwani is a Program Director for Ishk Tolaram Foundation in Indonesia. With a Masters in Early Childhood Education from Monash University and over 25 years of experience in the sector, Mimu is deeply passionate about improving early childhood education and building teacher capacity.
Mimu is also a co-founder at Ishine and an educational consultant at Ismile schools in Indonesia. The two groups of schools pride themselves on being a leading educational institutes that believe in building a child’s multiple intelligences by providing limitless learning opportunities from an early age.
Program Director, Nigeria
Neha Mehra is a Program Director for Ishk Tolaram Foundation in Nigeria. She was part of the founding team of Ishk Limb Centre, an initiative started by Tolaram Group and adopted by Ishk Tolaram Foundation in 2017. The centre fits amputees across Nigeria with free prosthetic limbs, and since inception in 2009 has impacted more than 11,000 lives.
Before joining ITF, Neha worked as a Teacher at the Indian Language School in Lagos. She holds a Masters Degree in Arts from Meerut University.
Program Director, Singapore/Indonesia
Sandhya Aswani is a fourth-generation family member of Tolaram Group. At Ishk Tolaram Foundation, she oversees all initiatives in Singapore and is part of the program development team in Indonesia. With a background in inclusive education, Sandhya is passionate about access to quality education for children of all abilities and backgrounds.
Sandhya graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia, and holds a Master in Learning Intervention from the University of Melbourne.
Content and Communication Manager
Madhurya Manohar is the Content and Communication Manager at Ishk Tolaram Foundation. She covers the Foundation’s internal and external communications across Singapore, Indonesia and Nigeria.
Madhurya has previously worked in journalism, public relations and non-profit work and is passionate about communication for social impact. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University and a Master of Science in Communication from Northwestern University.
Laura Temituoyo Ede
Program Officer, Nigeria
Laura Ede is a Program Officer at Ishk Tolaram Foundation. With a B.sc in Economics from the University of Abuja, Laura has achieved success with well-established companies in the areas of Market Analysis and Data Management.
Before joining Ishk Tolaram Foundation, Laura was the Project Coordinator for a CSR initiative called Project Smile which helps to impact the lives of people affected by dental flaws. She has also volunteered as a GIS Mapping Specialist, collating data on hospitals with access to HIV/AIDS treatment in Lagos, Nigeria.
After spending more than 4 years in CSR, Laura has a deep appreciation on how non-profits aim to improve the quality of lives and has made it a life goal to make an impact one life at a time.
Dinesh Rathi is the Chief Executive Officer of Lagos Free Trade Zone. He joined Tolaram Group as a Finance Controller for Lucky Fibres in November 2004. He served as General Manager of Lucky Fibres in June 2005, after which he was appointed as Group Chief Financial Officer (Nigeria) in January 2009 and then Regional CFO Africa in December 2015 which he served till February 2018.Prior to joining Tolaram Group, Dinesh worked at Hindustan Unilever Limited and ICICI Bank.
Porus is the Chief Operating Officer of Multipro Consumer Products Limited - Logistics; Lucky Fibres and Six Sigma. He has been associated with Tolaram Group for the past 14 years. In his experience spanning over a decade, he has worked under all verticals of the group viz. manufacturing, sales, infrastructure as well as anchoring the logistics business. A Chartered Accountant by profession, his acumen hasn’t just been restrained to finance but is far-fetching. Before joining Tolaram Group, Porus worked with esteemed auditors, Deloitte, for 5 years in India.
